These Terms of Sale govern purchases made through the CalleaDesign website.

2. Products

CalleaDesign designs and manufactures Made in Italy clocks and interior accessories.

Product images, colours and finishes displayed on the website are intended to represent each item as accurately as possible. However, slight differences in colour, grain, texture or finish may occur as a result of the materials used, handcrafted production processes or the customer's screen settings. Such minor variations do not in themselves constitute a product defect.

Essential characteristics, dimensions, materials and available options are specified on each product page.

3. Made-to-order products

Most CalleaDesign products are prepared or manufactured specifically after an order is placed.

Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page, the usual preparation and production time is approximately 5–6 business days before dispatch.

This period is an estimate and does not include shipping time.

The fact that a standard product is manufactured or prepared after the order is placed does not, by itself, affect the customer's statutory right of withdrawal.

4. Customisation

Certain products can be customised, including through:

• personalised engraving or dedications;

• specific RAL or NCS colours requested by the customer;

• bespoke dimensions or configurations;

• other individual modifications agreed with CalleaDesign.

Where a product is made to the customer's specifications or is clearly personalised, the right of withdrawal may be excluded where permitted by applicable law.

Where relevant, this exclusion will be made clear to the customer before the order is completed.

5. Prices

The prices applicable to an order are those displayed on the website at the time the order is placed.

Applicable taxes, shipping costs and any other charges are displayed before the customer completes the purchase.

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or other charges may be imposed by the destination country. Unless expressly included in the order, such charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

6. Orders and conclusion of the contract

Before completing the purchase, customers can review the selected products, options, quantities, prices and any additional charges.

Submitting an order entails an obligation to pay.

Once the order has been successfully placed, the customer receives an order confirmation at the email address provided during checkout.

CalleaDesign may contact the customer if further information is required to correctly fulfil an order or customisation request.

7. Payment

The payment methods available for each order are displayed during checkout.

Electronic payments are processed through the payment systems available on the Shopify platform and the relevant payment service providers.

CalleaDesign does not directly receive or store the customer's complete payment card details.

8. Shipping and delivery

Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided by the customer during checkout.

Shipping and delivery times depend on the destination and the transport service used.

Production or preparation time must be considered separately from the time required by the carrier to deliver the order.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information.

9. Right of withdrawal

9. Right of withdrawal

Consumers purchasing at a distance have, where provided by law, the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days from delivery of the product, without having to provide any reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must clearly communicate their decision to:

After notifying CalleaDesign of the withdrawal, the customer must return the product without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which the decision to withdraw was communicated.

The product must be returned in the condition in which it was received, complete with any accessories and suitably packaged.

For returns made under the right of withdrawal, CalleaDesign covers the direct return shipping costs for orders delivered to Italy, France, Germany and Austria.

For orders delivered to other countries, the direct return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless otherwise required by law or where the product is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

The customer is responsible only for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.

10. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

Where permitted by law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised.

This may include, for example:

• products featuring a personalised engraving or dedication;

• products manufactured in a specific RAL or NCS colour requested by the customer;

• products whose dimensions or characteristics have been modified at the customer's request;

• unique or bespoke configurations specifically developed for the customer.

Simply choosing between sizes, colours or configurations normally offered as standard options in the CalleaDesign catalogue does not automatically make a product personalised for the purpose of excluding the right of withdrawal.

The customer's statutory rights in relation to defective or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.

11. Refunds

Where the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, refunds are processed in accordance with applicable consumer law and our Refund Policy.

Where permitted by law, CalleaDesign may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until the customer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds are normally made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

12. Products damaged in transit

Customers are advised to inspect the external condition of the packaging when receiving an order.

If there is visible damage, we recommend documenting the packaging and product with photographs and contacting CalleaDesign as soon as possible at:

Failure to report transport damage immediately does not affect any mandatory statutory consumer rights.

13. Legal guarantee of conformity

Consumers benefit from the statutory legal guarantee of conformity provided by applicable law.

For consumers within the European Union, consumer goods are covered by a minimum two-year legal guarantee from delivery, without prejudice to any more favourable rights provided under the applicable national legislation.

Where goods do not conform to the contract, consumers are entitled to the remedies provided by law, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract where applicable.

The statutory guarantee does not cover damage resulting from misuse, installation contrary to the supplied instructions, accidental impact, unauthorised modifications or normal wear and tear.

14. Installation and use

Customers must install and use products in accordance with the instructions supplied.

For products intended to be mounted on a wall, customers are responsible for ensuring that the fixing method used is appropriate for the type and condition of the wall.

Where appropriate, installation by a qualified professional is recommended.

15. Intellectual property

Product designs, photographs, texts, trademarks, drawings, configurations, images and other content available on the website are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Unauthorised use, reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

16. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

CalleaDesign shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights.

17. Business customers

Where a purchase is made by a business, professional or other person acting for purposes related to their trade, business or profession, provisions specifically intended for consumers apply only where required by applicable law.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law.

Consumers nevertheless retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions applicable in their country of residence where such provisions apply.

Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory rules concerning jurisdiction and consumer protection.

19. Changes to these Terms

CalleaDesign may update these Terms from time to time.

Orders remain subject to the Terms in force at the time the relevant contract is concluded.
